Layers: A Brave New World Adaption
Layers is a prototype of an abstract and immersive experience of a chapter of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World which allows users to delve into a dimensional space. This digital book for phone and tablet devices creates an opportunity for uncertainty and curiousity about how the relations between comfort and awareness affect the ability of perceiving the structures of society. However it visualises a sense of temporariness where layers of information are continuously replicated, fabricated and replaced. Full awareness in a way is inaccessible as the original truth will never be present again.
