Genesis is a zine that portrays an evolution of living beings, in which the inhabitants of Earth lose their naturalistic habits, flaws, and instincts - traits that once sculpted their physical identities. Futurist ideals and ideas corrupt and mutate the initial condition of nature’s flow, developing a vision that humanity sees as a gruesome, eerie world, eventually weaving itself into reality. The work incorporates the growing normalisation of genetic alteration and the outright rejection of natural instincts in all living things. As a result, the collection communicates a dehumanised shift induced by society’s relentless pursuit of progress and advancement.
